SpartanLearn (powered by Canvas) is a web-based learning management system designed to enhance course delivery. You will be able to find more information about your courses in it, such as syllabi, assignments, discussion boards, grades, and more.

SpartanLearn (powered by Canvas) Resources
As incoming students, UTampa 101 and 102, 103 (Transfer students), or 104 (Veteran students) must attend Microsoft sessions to enhance digital literacy using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Below are some tips to get started.
- Register through theADLC event calendar.
- Important!Access the cloud-based Microsoft O365 through MyUTampa.
- After each training session, your exams are based on the cloud-based Microsoft O365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Students are allowed two attempts on each quiz.
- A recent version of Windows (Windows 10 or 11 is recommended) with the latest system updates and at least 8 GB of RAM
- Need a laptop?Check one out at the front desk of the Macdonald-Kelce Library or use aCampus Computer Labto complete the training and your assessments.
- Access the sample files for the Word and PowerPoint sessions through. Ensure that you are logged intoMyUTampafirst. Then, use your Spartans email addressin the “work email” section to gain entry to the files.
Before Joining the Word, Excel and PowerPoint Training:
- Audio: If attendees are joining the audio conference individually, we strongly recommend using acomputer headsetor a phone with awired headset to avoid running low on battery power during class.
- Second Monitor: Each attendee (or the group as a whole) should ideally have asecond screen to watch the instructor’s screen and work on their screen simultaneously. There are a few possible ways to achieve this. One of those ways is to visit the Advanced Digital Literacy Center (ADLC).
- Visit the ADLC: The UT team will set up the audio and display the session on a screen, so you do not need a second monitor.
